Lady Moon lent the lands her light, illuminating only few areas of darkness. Snow lay upon the grounds and upon the branches which were named due to the falling of its leaves, which had been buried under the blanket of snow. Tracks of some unknown beast were barely visible with the little light from overhead.

Birds sat, sleeping in trees and nests built from pineneedles, and owls sat in their homes and among branches, lending their voices to Lady Night, who gracefully made her appeareance moments ago.

A sleek, golden figure soon came into view, deep brown orbs scanning the realm it had traveled upon. The tracks in the snow made it easy prey for those of larger build. But on should not be intimidated by this creature's size. Turning to the side, one could see it was much larger than it appeared, though not by too much. Most of its size came from its muscular status.

Bushy golden tail was motionless as the golden dire made its way through the wooded realm aware of all around it. Orbs took in features and nostrils took in new scents, yet no prescence of another wolf came into play.

Now nearing the edge of the forest, a small clearing developed with a still pond in the middle, then the clearing developed back into forest. A small smile formed upon the brute's lips as it raised its muzzle to the sky, maw parted.

A howl came from him, telling all others that he know claimed this land as his own, and that he, Shikyo, was the new alphen.

Shikyo made his way towards the pond then, his paws growing weary with travel. A small yawn came from his lips before he settled infront of the pond, yet didnt fall asleep.
